The LINQ Standard Roof Workers Kit is a complete, compliant fall-arrest solution designed for roofers, tradies, and anyone working at heights. It includes everything needed for safe setup on site, combining the LINQ Essential Harness with high-strength rope systems, shock absorption, and reliable anchorage components. This kit offers outstanding value while maintaining the highest standards of safety, comfort, and durability.
Built around the lightweight LINQ Essential Harness (1.1kg), the kit features a single-leg shock-absorbing lanyard with two snap hooks, a 15m kernmantle rope fitted with a rope grab and integrated shock absorber, a 1.5m endless anchor strap, and two screw-gate karabiners. The kernmantle rope exceeds 14.7kN strength and uses 110gsm polyester for superior performance compared to standard 65gsm ropes. The rope grab, when used with the shock absorber, ensures arrest forces stay below 6kN.
Every component is built for high performance. The system has been batch tested to AS/NZS standards with a 3.8m drop using a 100kg mass, achieving arrest forces under 4.5kN. The Extended Length Energy Absorber (ELEA) supports users up to 160kg including tools, while drop-forged lanyard hardware improves strength in harsh conditions. Pebble-weave webbing prevents buckle slippage, and retro-reflective stitching improves visibility and inspection.
User comfort is also prioritised. The articulated chest and shoulder adjustment design suits a wide range of users, including female workers. The harness includes a safety indicator showing Green for locked and Red for unlocked, ensuring confident setup every time. The full kit comes neatly packed in a durable waterproof bag for easy transport and storage.
