This anaerobic adhesive cures in the absence of air between close-fitting surfaces to form a strong, vibration-resistant bond that prevents loosening, leakage, and fretting — even under intense thermal cycling.
Perfect for applications requiring superior heat resistance, Loctite 620 performs in continuous service up to 200°C and withstands peaks of 230°C. Common uses include retaining bearings in automotive transmissions, sleeves in pump housings, and locating pins in radiator assemblies. Once cured, it delivers a shear strength of 17.2 N/mm² for secure, permanent retention.
